Thank you for your interest in having the Pathfinder Tech technical programs perform work for you.

    How the Process Works:

    Step 1:

Fill out and submit the work request below. If you do not see a program name listed, that program is not available to take on work requests at this time.

    Step 2:

The request is received by the Vocational Director who either approves the request to move along to the program instructor, or denies it.  If the request is denied, an email will be sent stating the reason for the denial. If the request is approved, it will move along to the program instructor for their review. Please note that this is only a preliminary approval, and does not guarantee that the technical program will be able to take on the live work request.

    Step 3:

The request is received by the program instructor. The instructor will review the request for multiple factors, including but not limited to, the educational benefit to the students, alignment to the program's frameworks, relevance to the industry trends, and whether or not the program has already had sufficient work in that area.

    Step 4:

The program instructor reaches out for more information. The program instructor will reach out for more information on the request, and may ask to look at the work or the job site if needed. From there, the instructor will decide if they will take on the work request or not. They may or may not provide an immediate response on whether the job is approved or denied.

    Step 5:

The instructor communicates on whether the work request will be accepted or not. At this time, the program instructor will reach out to state if the work will be take on or not. If they are able to take on the job, they will provide a timeframe of when the job can be started, and provide a quote with the estimated costs.  At that time, the requester can communicate whether or not they accept the quote and want to move forward with the work.

    Please Remember:

Please remember that this is a student learning environment. While the students are appreciative of this opportunity to perform live work as it aligns with the technical program they are enrolled in, the work request process and the work performed is likely to take much longer to complete compared to an expert in the field.  Our program instructors appreciate the live work opportunities as well, however as their main focus is educating the students, please be mindful that they may not be able to respond to your request for a few weeks or so after they receive the notification.

Thank you for your support in our technical programs!
